We address and mail cards up to 4.25” x 6” for 31 cents per piece (With postage and addressing, bar codes, and mail route sorting included). And for non-profits the postage is even less. And even if you mail the biggest 6” x 11” card you can still mail for less than the cost of the 44 cents stamp including our addressing services.

How should I design my postcard for mailing?

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has very strict guidelines in for a mail piece to qualify for discounted postage rates.

Indicia - Leave 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" white space on the upper right hand corner for the postal Indicia. For folded pieces, the Indicia should be on the upper right hand corner of the same side as the fold opening.
Address Area -Leave at least a 2" high x 4" wide white space on the mailing side for printing the recipient's address and the barcode. There should be no mailable address (City, State and ZIP Code) on the bottom 2" of the mailing side.
Size - Minimum size 4.25 x 5.5", Maximum size 6 x 11" Aspect Ratio - When selecting a custom size postcard for mailing, make sure the aspect ratio is between 1.3 2.5. (The aspect ratio of an image is its width divided by its height.)
Folding - Folded mail pieces should be tabbed if they are self-mailed or enclosed in an envelope.
Weight - Maximum mailable weight for folded mail pieces between 4 x 6" and 6 x 11" is 3.0 oz.

Can I mail Non-Profit?

If your organization is non-profit and you have a non-profit authorization number from the post office you will need to fill out some paperwork. You can e-mail mailing@1800postcards.com to request a copy of the paperwork. Once we receive the paperwork with the authorization number we will verify it with the post office and let you know if you are approved to mail at non profit rates. The name and address on the paperwork must match the name and address on the postcard in order to mail at these rates. There can also be no mention of lottery, raffle, etc. mentioned on the postcard.

What is the turnaround time on printing and direct mailing?

You can select a turnaround time for printing. We offer a 5 business day turnaround, a 3 business day turnaround, a 2 business day turnaround and a 1 business day turnaround for printing. Direct mailing usually takes approximately 2 business days.

Can I mail to a foreign address?

Our prices only include mailing within the United States.

Can I buy a list?

At 1800 Postcards we have thousands of mailing lists. By using one of our many lists you can target your mailings. Mail is sent out following database analysis which chooses recipients who best fit your criteria and are most likely to positively respond. You can create lists based on household income, geographic location, occupation, gender, age, distance from your business, etc.
