That’s why it is important to know what to do before you go to the printer. Below are our five points to the perfect brochure.
Now that you’ve avoided the three BIG brochure mistakes, take a look and see how this unique marketing can work for you.
Motivation to Open – Never place your logo on the front cover by itself. Give an incentive to open up the brochure. Offer a discount, display a thought-provoking quote, or use a fun image. Make them want to read about your company.
Keep it Simple – Use text to fully describe your idea, but use image to clearly identify the over arching theme. Use bullets to give an easy read.
Make it Resourceful – Include useful information in the brochure so readers will want to keep it for future reference. For example, a spa might include skin care tips, a clinic might include flu prevention tactics and a nutritionist might include healthy eating habits, etc.
Consider Shape – Trying to get prospect to join a gym? Why not make it in the shape of a dumbbell to stand out? Consider die-cut shapes to get more eye balls to your brochure.
Call to Action – A brochure would be meaningless without it. Be sure to include a telephone number, tear-off section or a website to visit. To maximize the action, consider placing an “action” footer on the bottom of each panel to clearly direct your readers to a specific action.
